What is Hydroseeding?
Here's how it works... Grass seed, fertilizer, fibrous mulch and water are mixed into a thick slurry, which is evenly sprayed onto your prepared soil. You will get a fast, thicker, more uniform lawn, which will be healthier and last longer because it's grown in place at your home to your soil conditions.
Once your soil has been hydroseeded, the grass seeds and fertilizer are suspended in a protective interlocking fibrous mulch mat. This mat not only prevents wind and water from eroding the new seeds, it also provides needed nitrogen as it decomposes. The mulch mat also serves as a sponge by holding moisture--critical for proper seed germination. In addition, the fibers create a micro-greenhouse effect for fast germination.
